Six Deputies On Leave After Shooting

The Clackamas County Sheriff's office has released the name of a man who was killed early Tuesday morning near Boring.

44-year-old Nathaniel Macalevy, of Boring, was wanted for a restraining order violation.

When deputies found his car he refused to stop and led deputies on a pursuit that ended at his house near Highway 212 and SE Church Road in Boring.

Macalevy fired at officers and they returned fire. Macalevy was found dead behind a barn.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner says Macalevy died from gunfire.

Six Clackamas County Sheriff's deputies are on administrative leave while the investigation continues.
