The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man following a shootout with deputies.
Deputies were searching for a suspect in a restraining order violation call when the suspect fled in a vehicle.
He drove to his house near Highway 212 and SE Church Road near Boring.
There was an exchange of gunfire between deputies and the suspect. The man ran into a barn where he was found dead.
It's unknown whether he died as a result of deputies gunfire or if he took his own life.
The medical examiner will determine how the suspect was killed.
