Slow Thaw From Wintery Weather

The combination of freezing rain, sleet and snow remains on the ground in most areas of Portland-Vancouver.

East winds continue to blow cold air through the Columbia River Gorge and that will keep temperatures colder in Northeast Portland, Gresham, Troutdale and Camas.

Freezing rain could continue to fall in those areas through about 10 a.m. this morning.

Temperatures will slowly warm through the day.

The rain will end Monday morning and drying will begin.

Temperatures Monday night will fall to near or below freezing, so wet roadways could be frozen Tuesday morning.

Tuesday will be dry, but another storm arrives Tuesday night that could bring more wintery weather especially in areas near the Gorge.
