A storm that’s moving north along the coast will bring potentially damaging winds Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service has issued High Wind Warning for the Coast, the Coast Range and the Willapa Hills in Southwest Washington. Winds could gust to 80 mph on exposed areas. At the coast, winds could gust to 65 mph in communities.
Inland, strong winds are expected from Seattle to Portland. In the Willamette Valley and Southwest Washington winds could gust to 50 mph this afternoon.
The winds will taper off Monday evening.
