The suspect in the MAX train murders in Portland was in court on Friday for a procedural hearing.
While leaving the courtroom, Jeremy Christian shouted he couldn't be a white supremacist, because he voted for Bernie Sanders.
Christian faces charges of intimidation for the statements he was making toward two women on the MAX train before the stabbings.
He killed two men and injured a third man.
Christian is charged with Aggravated Murder, Attempted Murder and Intimidation among other charges.
During the court hearing Friday, the judge denied a motion by KOIN TV to unseal an affidavit in the case, because it could influence the trial.
