Over the past several months, someone has been stealing parking meters from the downtown area of Oregon City.
The latest theft was discovered on October 3, 2017. The suspect(s) are cutting the metal pole and stealing the entire meter(s).
The thefts are occurring during the overnight hours.
Meters generally contain a very little amount of coins, since they are emptied frequently. However, the meters are expensive to replace.
