UPDATE: The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says the missing family was found safe. They were still camping and stayed longer than originally planned.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing family. The family consists of Veronica Weathers, a 51 year old white female, her daughter Kasey Kent a 26 year old white female, along with Kasey's three children a 7 year old female, 6 year old male and 3 year old male.
Sergeant Brian Jensen, with the Clackamas County Sheriff's office, says, in mid-September they went camping in the Mount Hood National Forest, possibly south of the Ripplebrook Store. The family is currently overdue from their expected return date, which was the end of September. The family was driving two vehicles, a red 2000 Dodge Durango bearing Oregon plate 162FYS and a purple 1986 Dodge pickup with a canopy, bearing Oregon plate 449ADM.
Sergeant Jensen says if you see either vehicle, to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office immediately.
