Washington County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are trying to find 38-year-old Chad Brandon Pitcher in connection with the murder of 39-year-old Michael Arch near North Plains.
Pitcher should be considered armed and dangerous and the public should not attempt to approach him. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call non-emergency dispatch at (503) 629-0111.
On September 19, deputies responded to a shooting in the 16000 block of Northwest Dairy Creek Road outside North Plains.
Deputies Arch outside of a house suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies attempted life-saving measures, but he was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators have not released details about what they think led to the shooting.
