The FBI and Marion County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man who robbed the Wells Fargo branch located inside the Safeway at 3380 Lancaster Drive NE in Salem on Thursday, August 24th.
The robbery occurred at 5:06 pm when the man walked up to the teller counter, demanded cash, received cash and left the store on foot.
Witnesses describe the man as:
- Race: White
- Age: Mid 50's -- mid 60's
- Height: 5'8" -- 5'10"
- Weight: 160 pounds
Wearing: A dark, possibly black, hoodie and an orange construction vest with two vertical yellow reflective stripes. He also wore a brownish-black beanie cap and dark rectangular sunglasses.
