Search For Missing High-Risk Sex Offender

The Washington County Community Corrections Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 30-year-old Hillsboro man who is considered a high-risk sex offender.

Dustin Westling absconded from court-ordered community supervision Thursday, August 3. Westling is a white male with a bald or shaved head, 5 foot 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, brown eyes and is considered a potential danger to the public.

Please do not approach this person and notify law enforcement via 9-1-1 immediately if you encounter him.

Westling was last located near S.E. 21st Avenue and S.E. Cypress Street in Hillsboro before he removed his GPS monitoring bracelet. An active arrest warrant has been issued.

Under the terms of his supervision, Westling may not go to locations primarily used by minors or where minors congregate, such as schools, playgrounds, libraries or churches. Westling may not have contact with his victims of record.

Westling is currently on post-prison supervision for identity theft and escape in the second degree, but he has served time in prison for attempted sex abuse in the first degree, sodomy in the third degree and rape in the third degree. Westling has a history of convictions for improper use of 9-1-1, giving false information to a police officer, theft in the first degree, contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and failure to register as a sex offender.
