Big Drug Bust In Home Depot Parking Lot

On Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 in the Home Depot parking lot at Mall 205, the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force (CCITF) arrested Jose Luis Poitras, 22, with almost 20 kilos of meth and almost 4 kilos of heroin.

The CCITF was assisted in the arrest by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Deputy McGlothin and his K9 partner Grimm. Photos of K9 Grimm and this sizable drug seizure are attached.

The Aug. 1 arrest is the culmination of a six-month CCITF investigation that started in Oregon. The Aug. 1 drug seizure and arrest of Poitras led to the Aug. 1 search of two locations in Vancouver, Washington, with assistance from the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force. The search of the two Vancouver locations led to the additional seizure of almost $10,000 in cash and evidence of extensive methamphetamine and heroin processing.

Jose Luis Poitras was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on charges of Unlawful Distribution of Methamphetamine and Heroin. Bail was set at $500,000.
