A fire in Washougal sent a thick column of smoke that was visible over much of the Portland/Vancouver area Friday night.
The fire was at Advanced Drainage Systems which is a sewer and drain pipe company.
Plastic pipe in the storage yard were burning.
A second alarm was called with a total of 8 engines responding from Camas-Washougal Fire Department, Vancouver Fire Department, and East County Fire and Rescue.
The fire was quickly confined to the area of origin and was extinguished by 9 p.m.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
