Portland Fire crews responded to a fire near the Ross Island Bridge around 10 p.m. Friday.
It was burning between the Willamette River and McLoughlin Boulevard.
fire crews were able to stop the fire while it was still relatively small.
No injuries were associated with this fire, however a homeless camp was damaged.
McLoughlin was closed for a time as firefighters were forced to lay hose lines across the road.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
