Tuesday at 6:48 a.m., North Precinct and Traffic Division officers responded to the report of a traffic crash at North Lagoon Avenue near North Basin Street involving a motorcycle and a school bus.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the crash scene where they learned a motorcyclist and school bus collided. The male adult motorcyclist had suffered traumatic injuries. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
The school bus was not transporting anyone at the time of the crash.
North Lagoon Avenue was closed between North Basin Avenue and North Lagoon Avenue for several hours while officers conducted an investigation.
