Flames were breaking through the roof of a Northeast Portland apartment building when firefighters arrived just before 7 o'clock Thursday morning.
The building is located at NE 57th and Glisan.
Firefighters rescued two people. A third person jumped from a window. They all received medical care.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire.
The cause is under investigation. Initial indications are the fire might have been electrical in origin.
