A woman at a MAX station was injured when she was hit by a car Friday afternoon.
Police say that 59-year-old Jacquelene Olson, of Fairview, was standing on the MAX platform when a car turning east from southbound 122nd Avenue and drove onto the MAX platform, injuring Olson, before driving away from the scene.
Through the investigation, officers determined that the suspect was impaired by alcohol.
The driver, 21-year-old Jesus Gomez-Reynel, was arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver (Hit and Run), Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII), and Reckless Driving.
