The Chase Bank in Raleigh Hills was robbed on Wednesday afternoon. The suspect got away with cash and no one was hurt. Sheriff's detectives are asking the public's help in identifying him.
On May 3, 2017, at about 2:30 pm, Sheriff's deputies responded to the Chase Bank located inside Fred Meyer on a reported robbery. The store is located at 7700 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway in the community of Raleigh Hills.
The tellers at the bank reported that a white male, approximately 5'10" tall wearing a dark "beanie" hat, and a blue and black North Face coat entered the bank and produced a note that claimed he was armed and demanded money. The teller did as they were told and no one was injured. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed sum of money.
A Sheriff's Office K9 team was called in and conducted a search, but they were unable to find the suspect who they believe fled in a vehicle.
