The Yamhill County Sheriff's Office and Sheridan Fire responded to a report of a man in the Yamhill River.

Around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, emergency responders were called to the bridge near the intersection of South Bridge Street and Main Street in Sheridan on a report of a man who fell or jumped from the bridge.

The male was identified as Sheridan resident 25-year-old Bryan Disabatino.

Firefighters tried to use thermal imaging and night vision equipment to locate Disabantino, but were unsuccessful.

Saturday morning, Yamhill County Search and Rescue, with assistance from the Sheridan Fire Department and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue began a search from the banks, river and air.  There were not able to find Disabatino.

Initial investigation appears to show that the incident was accidental and that alcohol could have been a factor. The Yamhill County Sheriff's Office will continue the search.

If you have any information on this case please contact Sgt. Todd Whitlow of the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office at whitlowt@co.yamhill.or.us
