The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found on a rural logging road near Alsea.
27-year-old William Hargrove is charged with murder.
The medical examiner has tentatively identified the victim, but they are not releasing her name at this time.
She appeared to have been fatally shot.
Investigators have not said what they think led to the shooting.
