The Oregon Humane Society is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing of a cat whose remains were discovered at Scott Park in Milwaukie last month.
The cat was found with an electrical cord tied around its neck on Tuesday, March 28 in the amphitheater of the park, which is located at 10660 SE 21st Ave., Milwaukie, Oregon. A forensic necropsy performed by OHS revealed evidence of strangulation.
The cat was a domestic long hair cat, approximately one year old. The cat was a spayed female and was solid gray in color. The Milwaukie Police Department and the OHS Cruelty Investigations Department are jointly investigating the crime.
