Former PCC Rock Creek teacher Matthew Constantino, of Scappoose, has been arraigned and charged on one count of Invasion of Personal Privacy. He was booked into the Washington County Jail and released pending a court date on May 5.
Constantino is no longer employed at PCC.
The investigation began in October 2016 when a student told PCC staff about a camera hidden in a campus bathroom. PCC immediately notified the Washington County Sheriff's Office and fully cooperated with the investigation. Constantino, who’s 39 years old, was placed on leave.
During the investigation, Washington County Sheriff's detectives learned Constantino hid a camera under a sink in a gender neutral bathroom. The camera was pointed at the toilet area and allowed detectives to identify multiple victims who had been videotaped without their knowledge.
Detectives conducted a search warrant at Constantino's home in Scappoose and recovered more evidence, including so-called "up-skirt" videos filmed at locations away from the PCC Rock Creek campus. The Washington County District Attorney's Office will be filing additional charges in the near future.
Sheriff's detectives have notified a number of the victims in this case and are continuing efforts to identify others. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-846-2500.
