Washington SR 503 remains closed 20 miles east of Woodland, because of a large landslide. WSDOT geologists say the slide continues to move. They need to wait for the hillside to dry before they can start working to remove the debris.
Geotechnical engineers are working on a way to remove the debris and make the hillside safe.
They don’t know when the highway will reopen.
