Vancouver Burglary Caught On Camera

Clark County Deputies are investigating a burglary captured on a nanny cam at a Vancouver home.

KATU reports the house is up for sale, and a couple of prospective buyers were expected to come by with their agent to take a look at it. But homeowner, Travis Clarke, says only the agent showed up.

The suspect was caught on the nanny cam, riffling through the kitchen cabinets.

Clarke says he watched 3 seconds of video and saw the agent putting on latex gloves and knew something was wrong. Clarke was only a few miles from the house at his office, but hit a 15 minute traffic delay. By the time he got there, the agent was no longer in the house.

Clarke says the only thing they found missing was his wife’s oxycodone medication that she was prescribed for surgery, which the suspect was seen taking on the video.

An arrest has not yet been made.
