Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies say the teen was driving north on Powerline Road Wednesday night, when he lost control around a curve.
The boy’s truck rolled and hit a utility pole, the force splitting the truck in two.
The teen walked to a nearby house to call 911 and was treated for minor injuries.
Deputies say he was wearing his seat belt. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash.
