A landslide has closed NW Thompson Road between NW Cornell Road and NW Skyline Blvd. on February 10. The slide is about 100 yards from a slide that closed the road on February 9 and was cleared Thursday.
Through traffic should use alternate routes such as NW Cornell and NW 53rd Drive. Heavy rains this week have caused landslides onto many roads over the water-logged west hills. There is no estimate for when NW Thompson Road will reopen. The road remains open to local and emergency traffic up to the closed section.
Friday a short section of NW Germantown Road between NW Skyline Blvd. and NW Kaiser Road is down to one lane while crews clear up a landslide that occurred there on February 9. Flaggers are directing traffic on the open lane.
