Winter Weather Returning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a return to winter weather this week.

Starting Wednesday east winds will blow cold air into Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington bringing snow levels near the Valley floor.

Light precipitation is possible Wednesday, but significant accumulation is not expected.

A stronger storm arrives Thursday and Friday which will bring more precipitation. It could fall as snow, sleet or freezing rain. Accumulations are not expected to be as great as the snow storm earlier this month. Up to 2 inches of snow are possible before changing to freezing rain. Plain rain is expected on Saturday.
