Explosives Bring Down Water Tower

Demolition crews have removed the metal water tower at the top of the fire-damaged Centennial Mills building in Portland.

Explosives were placed at the base of the water and following a huge explosion, the water tower structure fell into the seven story building.

The concrete walls did not collapse, so now crews will begin work to bring down the building.

They expected to have half of the building removed in about two weeks.
