Portland International Airport is not expected to be impacted by the shutdown of the Olympic Pipeline. It moves fuel from refineries in Washington to Portland, including jet fuel.
Seattle Tacoma International Airport is preparing to truck fuel into the airport. The Port of Portland says that's not a problem at PDX. Airlines in Portland can barge in jet fuel which is not an option for Sea-Tac.
Work is underway to find the leak near Everett, Washington and repair the pipeline.
