A large pile of scrap metal near the Port of Vancouver caught fire Tuesday evening.
More than 40 firefighters from the Vancouver Fire Department, including several crews from Clark County Fire District 6, worked through the night to put the fire out at Pacific Coast Shredding.
20 firefighters remained on Wednesday as the company's crews work to take the pile apart, so the fire could be extinguished. No one was hurt.
