Oregon is sending 370 firefighters to the Los Angeles area to help battle wildfires.
Strike teams from local fire departments across the state and the Oregon Department of Forestry will arrive Thursday.
Oregon has an agreement with California to send firefighters when they need help and California does the same for Oregon. The agreement has been in place since 2017.
Firefighters in California have been battling winds over 60 miles an hour that are making fires difficult to control.
