Portland Police have released officer body camera video of a shooting that happened August 24th.
It's the first time since officers started wearing body cameras that they've been used for an officer involved shooting investigation.
52-year-old Robert Seeger was armed with a gun, knife and a hammer. He ran toward officers, hid behind cars, and acted erratically. The video shows officers tried to get Seeger to surrender.
Officers used a less-lethal-round and then fired three shots from a rifle wounding Seeger.
Seeger ran into an apartment. After 20 minutes, with the help of a police K-9, Seeger was taken into custody. He was treated at a hospital and then released to police. He's charged with unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a weapon, burglary and menacing.
