Traffic Stop Leads To Major Drug Bust

A traffic stop of a big rig in southern Oregon uncovered a major illegal drug shipment.

Oregon State Police stopped the commercial truck on I-5 in Jackson, County for a traffic violation.

The driver gave consent to search the truck and the trooper found two five-gallon buckets weighing 60 pounds filled with 276-thousand blue pills that were laced with fentanyl.

The truck's driver and passenger, both from Mexico, were arrested and charged with possession and delivery of fentanyl.
