A driver was rescued by firefighters from his crushed car Sunday night in Vancouver.
The man was driving on SR 14 near the Ellsworth Exit when it was rear ended by a vehicle that fled the scene.
It took firefighters 22 minutes to get the man out of the wreckage. He was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in stable condition.
Washington State Patrol says the driver wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
