Burnside Bridge Survey Near End

There are just a few more days to weigh in on the future look of the new Burnside Bridge! Be a part of this historic moment! Multnomah County’s online survey, which asks the community for input on the future look of the new Burnside Bridge, closes Wednesday, July 31 at midnight. This is all part of the Earthquake Ready Burnside Bridge Project. To date, the County’s received nearly 20,000 survey responses.

The County is considering three cable stay and three tied arch options of various sizes for the east side of the bridge. Before taking the survey, the public has the opportunity to learn about all of the bridge type options by using interactive graphics and watching 3D videos that simulate the experience of being on and near the bridge. At nearly 100 years old, this is the community’s bridge and the County wants its new construction to be something the community is proud of now and into the future.
