Late Monday night, Clark County Sheriff’s deputies responded with Fire District 6 to a single vehicle rollover collision event in the 1400 block of NE 117th St.
Detectives determined 29-year-old Benjamin Quatier of Vancouver, Washington was operating his 2001 Dodge Neon westbound on NE 117th St from NE Highway 99.
Investigators say Quatier failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control of his vehicle.
The Dodge impacted a cobblestone retaining wall.
Quatier suffered fatal injuries during the collision event and was pronounced at the scene.
Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash.
