Child Abuse Suspect May Have More Victims

Washington County Sheriff's Office detectives have made an arrest in the rape of a 12-year-old girl and there might be more victims.

In September 2019, Washington County Sheriff’s Office detectives began investigating a case of child sex abuse after getting a report of an adult man having sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl.

Detectives identified 32-year-old Ricardo Infante-Perez as the suspect. As the investigation continued, detectives learned there were multiple underage victims.

Infante-Perez, who lives in Beaverton, was arrested on January 14, 2020.

On January 22, a grand jury indicted him for the following charges:

  • Rape in the first degree
  • Rape in the second degree (two counts)
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree (two counts)
  • Unlawful sexual penetration in the first degree

Infante-Perez remains in jail on $750,000 bail. Additional charges are possible in the future. Detectives believe there are additional victims in this case and anyone with information about this investigation is asked to call 503-846-2700.
