It's looking more likely that we could see snow down to the Valley Floor this week, but that probably won't happen until Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says by Monday morning, snow levels will be between 500 and 1,000 feet, which means there could be snow in the hills.
Colder air moves into the region Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will continue to have the possibility of snow showers in the hills.
The greater concern this week arrives on Wednesday. East winds will bring cold air into the Northern Willamette Valley. A front will move through and between 2 and 5 inches of snow are possible. The larger amounts of snow will fall in areas like Forest Grove and Banks, and also Hood River Valley.
It appears the Central Valley will see a snow/rain mix and further south will be rain.
