The driver of a wrong way vehicle that was involved in a crash early Saturday on I-405 has been charged with DUI.
Police were called to the crash at 12:49 a.m.
68-year-old Gerald Sullivan, of Vancouver, was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-405 when he crashed with a Toyota SUV near Southwest 4th Avenue.
The driver and passenger of the SUV had minor injuries.
Sullivan was taken to a hospital. His blood alcohol level was .22%.
Police say it's not clear where he first got on the freeway going the wrong direction.
Sullivan was criminally cited for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving.
