A Southeast Portland warehouse was destroyed by fire Friday night.
The warehouse is located near Southeast 27th and Holgate.
When firefighters arrived flames had broken through the roof.
A third alarm was called eight minutes after the first crews arrived.
Several first in crews made an aggressive attack on the east side of the building and prevented the loss of several homes; however, there is damage to surrounding homes, properties and cars.
Firefighters had several difficulties to deal with including a partial collapse of the fire building early on, water supply issues and multiple adjacent structures to protect.
Fire crews were on scene through out the night.
