Portland Police were called to Northeast 79th and Sandy Boulevard early Saturday on a report of a suspicious person chasing cars.
When police arrived, a vehicle with its lights off, accelerated and hit the back of a patrol car.
The police officer wasn't hurt, but the driver and passenger in the car suffered minor injuries.
Police arrested 50-year-old Jeremy Heisler for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII), Reckless Driving, and misdemeanor Driving While Suspended or Revoked.
