A man was injured in a shooting near a Northeast Portland motel Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 3 a.m., officers responded to the report of a man shot on Northeast 82nd Avenue.
Police found the injured man outside of the Madison Suites.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Officers recovered the firearm believed to be involved in the incident.
Police have not released any suspect information or the victim's identity.
Detectives do not believe there is any risk to the public, and are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
