Reward Offered For Information In 2014 Double Homicide

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a double homicide that occurred in Northeast Portland's Hazelwood Neighborhood. 

On Thursday October 30, 2014, at 12:32 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Northeast 114th Avenue on the report of a possible deceased person inside the home. 

Officers and medical personnel arrived and made entry into the residence where they found 65-year-old Jerry Ephrem and his wife, 65-year-old Helen Ephrem, deceased due to homicidal violence. 

There is no suspect information and no known reason why anyone would want to hurt the victims. 

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards of up to $2,500 cash for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.
