A tanker truck carrying liquified carbon dioxide rolled over on the ramp from I-5 northbound to Water Avenue after hitting several vehicles.
ODOT initially closed I-5 in both directions. The freeway has now reopened.
The semi hit eight to ten vehicles on I-5 northbound before the truck crashed on the Water Avenue off ramp.
Three people were hospitalized with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
