Traffic on Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway will be reduced to one lane in both directions starting Thursday morning while crews repair the asphalt dip just west of 153rd Drive.
During construction, traffic control could be in place 24/7. In addition, the traffic signal on TV Highway at SW 153rd Drive could be turned off, with flaggers controlling the intersection as needed. Left turns from TV Highway onto Southwest 153 Drive will see intermittent closures, with a signed detour in place.
The work is expected to take three days.
In the spring, the culverts started failing, creating a dip in the road. Since then, ODOT has been making temporary repairs with frequent inspections to make sure the road remained safe.
Crews will level and pave the road.
