Reward Offered In Rosen Homicide

Crimestoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the homicide of Barak Rosen.

Rosen's body was found early Sunday morning on the track at the temporary site for Grant High School in Portland. He was shot several times.

Rosen's family has traveled to Portland from Indio, California to meet with detectives.

Jerry Rosen, Barak's father, says the suspect is a coward and he's asking parents to find out where their kids were Saturday night. He's pleading that anyone with information about the case contact Crimestoppers at 503-823-HELP.

Rosen says his son is the type of person you'd want to be your kid's friend.

Rosen enjoyed the outdoors, mountain biking and walking.

Detectives say Rosen lived in an apartment near the scene where he was killed. He moved to Portland last December for a new job.
