The Oregon Humane Society is helping the Humane Society of Central Oregon care for 53 dogs that were removed from a property in La Pine.
OHS brought 22 of the dogs to its facility in North Portland and 19 will be available for adoption on Friday.
“This was a very large intake of dogs for our partners at HSCO and we are glad to assist,” said Sharon Harmon, OHS president and CEO. “We have the resources and expertise to care for these pets and find them loving homes.”
The dogs include German Shorthaired Pointers, Labrador Retrievers, Dachshunds and Chihuahuas.
