A former Tigard High School teacher and coach has been arrested and charged with alleged sex abuse.
Police say 40-year-old Marcus Jolley was the center of an investigation after two former high school students say Jolley sexually abused them when they were both students at Tigard High School.
Jolley was the center of an in-depth investigation after a former Tigard High School student disclosed the alleged sex abuse to a Tigard Police School Resource Officer.
The investigation began in the summer of 2017 and recently intensified after another victim contacted Tigard Police. Jolley is alleged to have inappropriate sexual contact with a high school student beginning in July 2005 which continued throughout the year. The second victim was abused in 2016.
On Thursday, A Washington County grand jury indicted Jolley on 5 counts of Sex Abuse II and one count of Sex Abuse III. Jolley is in the Washington County Jail awaiting arraignment.
