Red Cross Cascades Needs Shelter Assistance

The American Red Cross is continuing efforts to help those affected by the Eagle Creek Fire.

There are still hundreds of evacuees and over 170 people are staying at Red Cross shelters. 

Monique Dugaw, with American Red Cross Cascades, says the increase of people staying at the shelter in Stevenson has is up to 146. 

24 people are currently staying at the shelter in Gresham.

Dugaw says there's a significant need for shelter assistance.  If you'd like to help their assistance operations, you can make a financial donation to the Red Cross by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, at redcross.org, or by calling the local phone number at 503-528-5634.
