Contact Your State Rep. Re: Equifax. Why?

If you want to Freeze your credit as a result of the Equifax debacle, take it from me, the task is anything but easy. There are at least three credit reporting agencies that you must contact separately and PAY EACH separately.  They are profiting from this on both ends. Some states prohibit these agencies from charging you to freeze/unfreeze your own credit. Oregon should be one of those states.  Here's a list of state rep's - contact yours and ask that they make this happen for you.
