A suspect who was trying to elude deputies crashed into a garage in Beaverton early Sunday morning.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office reports a deputy tried to stop the suspect for an expired registration, but the suspect fled.
The deputy didn't pursue.
A minute later, the suspect crashed into an apartment complex garage and ran from the scene.
Deputies searched the apartment complex and arrested 21-year-old Joseph Kinoa Ta'afulisia, of Seattle, for attempting to elude, reckless driving and other charges.
